Build to be Tough
Built in a strong, compact metal casing, Silverlite Cable Tester is made to last, and is a great long-term solution to help keep your audio set-up running smoothly.

Test a wide range of cables
With support for the most common cable types in the sound recording industry, Silverlite Cable Tester is your go-to for making sure your next performance goes off without a hitch. Or, you can do a little house cleaning and throw out any cable that's no longer working.

LED Indicator
With just a turn of the dial you can test if each pin on your cable is working properly. The LED panel features 8 indicators that let you know if your cable has full continuity and which pins are functioning or broken. That way you can repair any broken pins or purchase a new cable while you still have time.

Easy to Start
Step 1: Install the battery.
Locate the battery compartment on the rar side of the tester. The screws can be manually unscrewed. Then install two AA batteries.
Step 2: Check the battery
Turn the device on. The first red of the LED chain will glow. If this LED lights up strongly, then the battery is fine. If the LED only lights dimly, then the battery is low and should be replaced soon.
Step 3: Choose the modes, "ON" or "AUTO"
ON This is the manual modes, with the "left-right" buttons you can jump from one connection to the next.
AUTO In the auto mode, all the connection will be tested in a sequence. You do not need to press the "left-right" buttons to jump from a connection to the other. This will be done automatically.
Step 4: Test
Connect both ends of your cable to the cable tester and set the "left-right" button to position 1. With an intact cable, both the top (red) as well as the lower (green) LEDs will light up. This means that pin 1 of the cable in the left socket is connected to pin 1 of the cable connector in the right socket. The same operation with other pins.
